(Memphis) People who live in an East Memphis neighborhood are disturbed to find out they may live next door to a child predator.

Police arrested a man in the Robinhood area, they say, for having child porn.

Karri Underwood says she doesn’t know the man who lives on her street that is accused of having more than a hundred pictures of child sex abuse in his home.

“He was a little creepy and angry and we just avoided each other,” said Lauren Breeden.

Breeden, his next door neighbor, says she saw police Wednesday surround Paul Cohen’s home.

“I think I counted 7 or 8 officers with their guns out surround that house,” said Breeden.  “One of them had a semi-automatic rifle.”

When the officers searched his house, besides the child porn, they say he had distributed 25 pictures to others.

Memphis police say they got the tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, that said Cohen’s email address had been trading child pornography.

Local officers say, sure enough, the evidence was there.

“Now he`s in jail,” said Reporter Sabrina Hall.

“That’s where he needs to be,” said Brenda Pugh, a grandmother of two small kids who live on the street.

On Friar Tuck Road it seems almost every household has a child.

“We keep an eye on who`s a registered sex offender,” said Underwood.

But Cohen’s name had not been on that list.

In fact, he’s a restaurant manager in Downtown Memphis with only a couple run-ins with the law, involving marijuana.

Now, he’s facing state and likely federal charges for allegedly exploiting young children.

According to the police affidavit, Cohen waived his rights and gave a statement admitting to having the child porn. His bond  has been set to $75,000.
