(Nashville)  Police in Nashville want to find the thieves who stole a 6-foot tall bronze statue from the front of a business.

The statue of the founder of R.H. Boyd Publishing Company disappeared last weekend.

Police say the statue weighs several hundred pounds and was bolted to the ground.

They believe the suspects wanted to sell the statue for scrap metal.

Police have few clues in the stolen statue caper.
