Grizzlies bench keys win over Bulls

Memphis, TN-The Grizzlies turned to their bench for a strong second quarter run to ignite a rally that resulted in a win over the Chicago Bulls. Grizzlies guard Mike Conley had a game-high 17 points, one of only three starters in double figures. Zach Randolph added a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds. Rudy Gay overcame a slow start to score all 12 of his points in the second half of the Grizzlies 80-71 victory.

Reserve guard Wayne Ellington scored all 11 of his points in a quick span during the second quarter to help the Grizzlies take a 39-34 halftime lead that it would never relinquish. The Grizzlies bench scored 31 points. Memphis is now 16-6 and hosts Milwaukee on Wednesday night in an eight-thirty tipoff on national television.
