A class-action lawsuit has been filed against Memphis based FedEx accusing the company of overcharging customers for the past 5-to-6-years.

The allegations come from a company sales executive and were released after an internal e-mail was unsealed yesterday.

Bloomberg News reports FedEx overcharged commercial and goverment customers as much as $3 on millions of packages delivered during that time.

FedEx released a statement concerning the claim:
“We highly value our relationships with our customers and these relationships are at the core of all we do. These 11 documents do not tell the entire story of this case.  We will continue to defend these allegations in a court of law and not the media.”
