164th Airlift Wing Opens New State-Of-The-Art Facility
(Memphis) Members of the 164th Airlift Wing with the Tennessee National Guard held a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday celebrating the official opening of the new Civil Engineering building.
The new $7.3 million facility is the first and only building at Memphis International Airport with solar panels.
The feature will save the Guard more than $420,000 over the next 20 years and it will also provide jobs and boost the local economy with involvement in small, minority business.
