(Memphis) Some tattoo artists are putting their talents to work collecting hundreds of toys for children in Memphis.

Through Wednesday, 'House of Ink'  is allowing customers to trade a new toy for a new tattoo.

They're asking customers to bring in a toy valued at $25 or more for a tattoo or piercing of equal value.

This is the sixth year 'House of Ink' has collected toys for Agape Child and Family Services for Christmas.

Last year, through the "Toys for Tattoos," program they collected nearly $6,000 worth of toys for the non-profit agency.

This year, the owner of the tattoo shop is asking other local businesses to step up and adopt two or three children for Christmas.

"It's a great thing to see a child come into a room and you tell him to pick a toy and his eyes light up. That's a great thing for them to look at our shop and it looks like a Toys R Us," said Jay Guzman.

'House of Ink' is located at 2252 Frayser Boulevard. For more news updates from the field follow me on twitter.
