Ambulance Gets the Boot

(New Orleans) Paramedics responding to an emergency at a New Orleans convenience store found their ambulance was booted when they tried to leave.

The crew worked on a victim with chest pains in the store.

They put the man in the ambulance and started to drive away when they heard a loud screech.

The ambulance had a boot on it for illegal parking and a tire was now flat.

Paramedics had to wait for a second ambulance to arrive to transport the patient.

A store worker who put the boot on the ambulance has been fired.
