(Nashville) Nine middle school students in Nashville were rushed to the hospital Friday after officials say they took pills in class.

The incident happened at Madison Middle School.

Police believe the children took prescription pain medication that one of them took from home.

Several of the students started to vomit and emergency officials were called.

The children are expected to be okay.

Officials say the school has a zero tolerance policy on drugs and disciplinary action will be taken against the students.
