(New York City) A tourist visiting New York City snapped a photo that is making headlines around the world.
A New York City police officer stopped to talk to a homeless man on the street.
It was a cold night and the man had no shoes and his feet were covered with blisters.
So the officer went to a nearby shoe shop and purchased a pair of socks and boots.
25-year-old Officer Larry DePrimo then gave the shoes and socks to the man, who said he never owned a pair of shoes.
The tourist sent the photo to NYPD headquarters and the photo has gone viral.
