Two Dead in Murder Suicide

(Memphis)  Police are investigating an overnight murder suicide that left two people dead at a northeast Memphis trailer park.

Around 2 a.m. Friday, police were called to the Green Acres Mobile Home Park near Whitten Rd. and Reese Rd. on a report of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive man and woman lying on a porch. They had both been shot and were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Felony Response detectives recovered a gun at the home and believe the deaths were the result of a murder suicide.
