(Memphis) A group of Memphis Police officers donated their time over the weekend to ensure the Christmas spirit continues to come to one Memphis neighborhood.

A home in the 5000 block of Durbin is known for its over the top Christmas display which includes old-fashioned decorations mixed with modern inflatable decorations.

Apparently, MPD Sergeant George Cave was told the homeowner would not be decorating this year as he has gotten older and had no help for the massive project.

Sgt. Cave, several MPD officers and friends banded together to get the job done.

From the front lawn and porch to the roof, the group put up lights, Christmas trees, even a Ferris Wheel.

Over the years, the Christmas display has inspired neighbors to set up their own displays.

I encourage you to take a drive through the neighborhood just try not to clog up traffic :)
