Tigers Survive Against Samford

Memphis, TN– The Tigers were out-rebounded by Samford and only led by three with 3:30 to go but did make the plays late to escape with a 65-54 win, improving them to 2-and-0.

Adonis Thomas led the Tigers with 16 with Antonio Barton and Joe Jackson the only other Tigers in double figures with 14 and 13 respectively.

The U of M now heads to the Bahamas where they will play in the loaded Battle 4 Atlantis tournament beginning Thanksgiving night against VCU.
