MLGW Crews Return Home Following Storm Relief Effort

(Memphis) Thirty-three MLGW employees have returned to Memphis after assisting power crews in New York in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

The crews spent eight days in Long Island repairing power lines and replacing transformers and utility poles.

The MLGW crews worked 16-hour shifts and slept in trailers due to the lack of lodging.
