Memphis Man Convicted of Child Sex Abuse Charges

(Memphis) A Memphis man faces three decades in prison after being convicted on aggravated sexual battery charges.

33-year-old Derrick Braxton exposed himself to the victim and touched the child inappropriately on several occasions during the summer of 2011.

The victim was 11-years-old.

Braxton faces between 8 and 30 years in prison, with no possibility of parole.

He must also register as a sex offender.

Braxton is scheduled to be sentenced on December 14th.
