Ceasefire Fails Between Israel, Hamas

(Tel Aviv, Israel)  Violence erupted again in the Gaza Strip Friday after a brief ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas failed to materialize.

The ceasefire was supposed to last three hours, long enough for Egyptian Prime Minister Hesham Kandil’s visit to Gaza. It never took hold due to ongoing violence from both Israel and Hamas.
