(Memphis) A man has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in a deadly Frayser shooting.

21-year-old Darryl Claxton was booked just after midnight.

Investigators say Claxton shot into a crowd of people in the 3100 block of Madewell around 9:00 p.m.

One man was hit in the neck, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Reports say a security guard working in that area captured Claxton moments after the shooting and held him until police arrived.
