Vols Fall In 4 Overtimes

Knoxville, TN– The Vols became the first team in SEC history to give up at least 38 points in six straight games, losing in four overtimes to Missouri 51-48 to fall to 0-6 in the SEC.

U-T had a 28-21 lead late in the fourth quarter when the Tigers scored with less than a minute to play in regulation.

After both teams scored touchdowns on their first three overtime possessions, the Vols failed to convert on 4th and short allowing Missouri to win things on a 35-yard field goal.

Tennessee must now beat both Vandy and Kentucky to become bowl eligible.
