Teen Charged After Student Protest

(Memphis) 18-year-old Shaquille Suggars has been charged with filing a false report for allegedly pulling the fire alarm at Fairley High School.

The alarm was pulled during a student-led protest over the new principal’s enforcement of school rules.

The school was briefly evacuated but no one was hurt.

Suggars is being held on $1,000 bail.
