Preparation is the Key to a Stress-Free Holiday Shopping Season

(Memphis) Christmas is less than two months. If you want to keep your holiday shopping season as stress free as possible – preparation is key.

Consumer experts said you should start out with a budget and stick with it.

Also, be sure to have your gift list and coupons handy so you won’t over spend.

To avoid the lines and parking, experts say shop over the internet.

WREG’s Chief Consumer Reporter Zaneta Lowe said you don’t have to wait until Black Friday to find some of great deals.

“I have a couple of deal sites that aggregate the deals for me,” said Lowe.  “I get that automatic email that lets me know if there are sales at Macy’s, Toys ‘R’ Us or”

If you decide to shop online, never pay for shipping. Lowe said this time of year most retailers include free shipping.
