(Hollywood, CA) The Disney Company has made a multi-billion dollar deal with producer George Lucas to continue the “Star Wars” movie franchise.
Disney wants to create a new trilogy which will pick up after “The Return of the Jedi.”
Lucas is on board and will work with Disney to create the movies.
Disney says it doesn’t stop there.
When the trilogy ends, they want to make a new “Star Wars” film every two to three years.
The deal is valued at $4 billion.
