I-240 Police Chase Ends with Arrest

(Memphis) A suspected robber was arrested after a chase on the Memphis interstate system.

Police say the man robbed someone at Lucy Ave. & Latham St. in South Memphis early this morning.

Officers tried to stop him but he sped away eventually giving up once his car stopped working on Sam Cooper Blvd. near Highland St.

No one was injured.

So far police have not released the man’s identity.
