(Memphis) Thousands of Mid-Southerners “Prayed for Trey” after the 15-year-old was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer.
The Collierville High School sophomore’s courage while battling the terminal disease inspired everyone from fellow students, to politicians to professional athletes.
He learned of his cancer this past spring and died just four months ago.
WREG’s Richard Ransom sat down with Jay and Lisa Erwin for a candid interview about how the family is coping since Trey’s death.
They shared emotional details about the day doctors informed Trey about his disease as well as his final minutes.
You’ll see how Trey’s strength through his faith is still giving the Erwins’ strength in this difficult time.
