Amber Alert Cancelled For Missouri 5-Year-Old

(Poplar Buff, MO) An Amber Alert has been cancelled for a 5-year-old girl believed abducted from her bedroom by a convicted sex offender.

The girl was taken between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday in Poplar Bluff.

Abigail Bertholf has a medium complexion, with black hair and brown eyes.

It’s believed she was with Jeffrey D. Shelton in a silver Nissan Pathfinder with Missouri license plate PJ8Z5M.

We are told the child was found safe and Shelton is in custody.
