(Memphis) A 3-year-old girl is one of the latest victims of crime in Memphis.
Police say the toddler
was shot in the arm when someone fired into a home in the 4700 block of Neely Monday night.
The mother of the girl told us when the bullets started flying, she pushed her daughter to the floor and didn't realize until it was over she had been shot.
Neighbors heard the gunfire and knew it was close.
"If it was random or a drive-by it could have been our house," said the woman.
The little girl was treated at the hospital, but is back home and expected to be okay.
So far, police have only released a vague description of the suspect.
