(Memphis)  Dole Fresh Vegetables is recalling selected bags of salads due to possible listeria contamination.

The recall involves a limited number of cases of Dole’s American Blend salad in the 12 oz. package.

The affected salads have the codes A275208A and A275208B on the packaging. They have a “use-by” date of October 17th and include the UPC code 7143000933.

The company says there haven’t been any reports of anyone getting sick from the affected salads, but is recalling them as a precaution.

If you have the recalled salads in your refrigerator, Dole says you shouldn’t eat them and should throw them out.

They have set up a hotline for customers who have questions. The number is (800) 356-3111. It is open from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Pacific Time Monday through Friday.
