(Cordova, TN) James Scott was surprised to find out the woman killed Tuesday night by a robber and his accomplice is his neighbor.

“Oh, it`s pretty bad because I didn`t know about it until early this morning,” he said. “I hate to hear something like that.”

Scott says 44-year Roneccia Luster was friendly, but mainly kept to herself in her Cordova home and he didn't know her very well, “No more than being in the yard, mowing the yard or something and we just wave.”

Even still, Scott is sickened by the reckless behavior of the two suspects. They were caught on surveillance cameras at the drive-up ATM where they shot Luster as they tried to rob her.

“It’s senseless for people to be doing things like this and they looked like young men,” said Scott. “I`ve got a son which is 28. You don`t want to see anything like this happen.”

Luster crashed her car into a telephone pole. Witnesses say she was dead when they got to her.

Police tell us the robbers also shot another man near the McDonald's as they tried to carjack him. He was released from the hospital on Thursday.

“I`d like to see these guys get caught and quick,” said Scott, and so would others.

Police say information is pouring in through Crime Stoppers tips. Scott says hopefully a $10,000 reward will help get these bad guys behind bars.

“It would be safer for everybody,” said Scott.
