(Memphis) Memphis Police are turning to the community to help track down two murderers.

The suspects were last seen jumping over a fence into a neighborhood near South Perkins and Aloha.

“I just hope they catch the guy,” said Bruce Ballard.

He is concerned for his safety after two men went on a robbing, car-jacking, and shooting spree Tuesday night.

One woman was killed and another man taken to The MED.

“I was the first one to the lady,” said Ballard. “She was dead when I got there.”

Now, police are trying to find the shooters.

They say two men tried to rob the woman while she was parked at the drive-up ATM.

She tried to drive away, but police say the robbers shot 44-year-old Runeccia Luster.

“People don't care anymore,” said Craig Williams, who was making a stop at the same ATM. “They just don't care. They're going to do what they want to do and keep stepping.”

The woman crashed a couple hundred yards up South Perkins Road.

The two robbers then tried to carjack a different man shooting him twice.

They got away, but empty-handed. Craig Williams is unnerved these men are loose in his neighborhood.

“It’s still a scary situation especially since they haven't been caught,” said Williams. “There ain't no telling where they’re at.”

Police hope someone knows who did this and turns them in. Ballard is hoping too, before they strike again.

“I walk by every night and I may be the next one,” he said.

Orion Federal Credit Union is offering an additional $10,000 award for information leading to the identification and charging of the suspect(s) responsible for this murder and attempted carjacking.
