Southaven Fire & Life Safety Day

(Southaven) Saturday was a big day for families in Southaven.

The city held its 4th annual Fire and Life Safety Day at the Southaven arena.

Kids got the chance to get an up-close look at fire trucks.

Things were even set on fire for safety demonstrations.

Of course, there was plenty of food and face-painting for the kids.

An estimated 500 people attended the event.
