(Memphis)  Arson investigators with the Memphis Fire Department are looking into two fires that broke out early Wednesday morning.

The first one was in Frayser and started around 12:30 a.m. at a house in the 2100 block of Gayle Dr. near Overton Crossing and Frayser Blvd.

The house was vacant, but witnesses told firefighters that a family had been living there until earlier this week.

The second fire was in the Medical District near the Dixie Homes area, where a building in the 200 block of Decatur St. north of Poplar Ave. burned around 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Arson investigators were called in after firefighters discovered a gas can next to the building.

No one was injured in either fire.
