Gun Goes Off in Car, Victim Shot and Killed
A teenager is facing charges after police said he shot another man.
Demarkus Fifer, 19, will face a judge Monday.
He is charged with reckless homicide.
Early Sunday morning, 20-year-old Desmond Thomas was dropped off at Methodist south with a gunshot wound.
He later died.
Police said Fifer admitted to shooting Thomas while they were riding in a car.
Fifer said he was in the back passenger seat when the gun he was holding went off.
A bullet struck Thomas who was in the front passenger seat.
