Greg Davis Wins Injunction On Check Garnishment

(Southaven, MS) A Hinds County, MS judge has granted an injunction allowing Southaven Mayor Greg Davis to continue collecting a paycheck while he and the Mississippi State Auditor continue their legal battle over money the state auditor says Davis misspent.

The mayor’s attorney said the legal process will continue.

The judge did require Davis to put up an additional $75,000 bond to cover the money owed, in order to continue to receive his pay.
