Healthy snack options added to Shelby County vending machines

(Memphis) Shelby County officials want to make sure employees and visitors have access to healthier foods at government buildings.

More than 170 vending machines in 17 county buildings are being restocked to offer more nutritious snacks.

The move is part of the Healthy Shelby County Awareness plan started by Mayor Mark Luttrell earlier this year.
