Doctor Sentenced for Welfare Fraud

(Seattle, WA) Two people living in a million dollar house in Seattle, Washington have been convicted of welfare fraud.

Investigators say David Silverstein is a chiropractor.

He and his wife collected more than $250,000 in housing benefits, food stamps and medicare from the government while living a lavish lifestyle.

They drove a Jaguar and had a boat dock in the yard of their lakeside mansion.

The two pleaded guilty to fraud and will spend the next 18 months in prison.
