New Runway for West Memphis Airport

(West Memphis, AR) The West Memphis municipal airport will be getting a new runway that’s to a multi-million dollar grant.

The Evening Times reports the Department of Transportation awarded the 10-million dollar grant to the facility to help improve safety.

State officials say the improvements will help benefit local businesses and residents by stimulating economic development.
