The USDA is taking applications for seasonal Seasonal Clerks beginning at 9 a.m. until the first 25 applications are received on Friday, September 21st. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and must bring picture ID and their social security card.  Applicant must have experience in general clerical duties including answering the phone and using Microsoft Office. Criminal background checks are performed on all applicants. Interviews will be conducted. This opening is for the day shift. A DD-214 must be provided to qualify for veteran’s preference. Males born after December 31, 1959 who are at least 18 years of age must be able to document registration with the Selective Service System unless certain exemptions are documented. Starting salary is $11.95 per hour.
