Wild Police Chase Ends in Memphis

(Memphis) The West Tennessee Drug Task Force is investigating a police chase that started in Fayette County and ended in Memphis.

The chase came to an end when the suspect crashed into a utility pole on Summer at Waring.

It all started when an officer tried to pull the car over on I-40 in Fayette County. The car took off headed west, crashing into two other cars.

The suspect blew a tire and crashed. He got out of the car and tried to run, but deputies found him a few blocks up the road.

A stolen gun was found inside the car. He now faces a number of charges.

No one was hurt.
