Not Too Late To Thank First Responders This 9/11

Many people are remembering what happened 11 years ago when our country was attacked my terrorists.

In addition to remembering the people who lost their lives that day, many people want to thank those who continue to protect us on a local and national level.

One idea comes from the Memphis based group, Little Helpers.

They suggest making some cards, cookies or buying a treat then taking them to police officers, firefighters, EMT’s, National Guard and others who work day in and day out to keep us safe.

You can do this today, or any day.

It’s a great lesson for kids and you may also take away something.
