Mayors Of Cities On Mississippi River Meet This Week

(Memphis) The Mighty Mississippi will be the focus of a meeting in St. Louis this Thursday.

Mayors from several cities along the river, including Memphis Mayor A C Wharton, will gather to talk about making the waterway more sustainable.

The mayors will try to impact federal and local policy when it comes to maintaining the Mississippi River.
