Updated: Person Shot Inside Best Buy Store In Jackson, TN

(Jackson, TN) One person was shot at a Best Buy store in Jackson, TN Tuesday morning.

The woman, who was a contract employee, was shot inside the store and flown to The MED.

The condition of the victim is not known though she was said to be alert.

Police say the woman’s fiance walked and shot at her three times with a handgun.

The woman was hit in the head.

A plain clothes officer was able to detain the suspect who reportedly asked to be shot. Instead, a stun gun was used to get him under control.

The store is located at 1170 Vann Drive in the Columns Shopping Center.
