Hernando DeSoto Bridge Work Will Cause Delays

(Memphis) If you take the Hernando DeSoto I-40 bridge over the Mississippi River, between Memphis and West Memphis, get ready for some delays.

Crews will be doing some routine inspections, which means some lane closures.

For the next two weeks, the eastbound outside lane will be closed starting Thursday from nine in the morning until dusk.

The westbound outside lanes may be closed starting Thursday from dawn to three p.m.

There may be some closures over the weekend.
