Memphis Named One of the Cheapest Cities to Live

(Memphis) Memphis makes its way onto another top ten list. This time, it is good news.

The Bluff City is the second cheapest place to live in the country according to a new study conducted by the Council for Community and Economic Research.

The council looked at 300 cities and focused on things like health care costs, real estate and transportation.

Here are the Top Ten Cheapest Places to Live:

1. Harlingen, TX

2. Memphis, TN

3. McAllen, TX

4. Fayetteville, AR

5. Temple, TX

6. Conway, AR

7. Pueblo, CO

8. Wichita Falls, TX

9. Springfield, IL

10. Winston-Salem, NC

The Top 5 Most Expensive Places to Live:

1. Manhattan

2. Brooklyn

3. Honolulu

4. San Francisco

5. San Jose
