WREG NEWS CHANNEL 3 AMAZING RACE OPEN CALL AT THE DELTA FAIR
In Search of Mid-South Thrill-Seekers… The Faint at Heart Need Not Apply
MEMPHIS, TN – August 28, 2012 –WREG News Channel 3 is holding an “Amazing Race” Open Call at the Delta Fair & Music Festival on September 9, 2012 inside the Agricenter International from 1pm – 6pm.
Thrill-seekers looking for adventure are encouraged to bring a partner to the “Amazing Race” Open Call for a chance to represent the Mid-South on the show for a future season.
“The Amazing Race has a strong following. There is no doubt, the chance to compete for the adventure of a lifetime will create a lot of excitement,” says Ron Walter, President and General Manager for WREG News Channel 3. “We are equally excited to bring this opportunity to the Delta Fair and potentially have one of our fantastic viewers representing our great city on the show!”
Anyone interested in auditioning should review the eligibility requirements posted on the Delta Fair & Music Festival page at WREG.com prior to attending the Open Call to ensure the minimum requirements are met.
Those eligible should come with the partner they intend to compete with in the show if they are chosen.
Each team will be composed of two members who will each receive a free “Amazing Race” Open Call t-shirt, compliments of the Delta Fair, while supplies last.
WREG News Channel 3 will tape and submit each team’s audition segment, which can be no longer than one minute.
The “Amazing Race” is an eight-time Emmy Award-winning hit reality series on the CBS Network known for pitting 11 teams against each other on a competitive adventure around the world.
Each team is composed of two members who are trying to win a $1 million grand prize.
