Mom In Court Accused Of Beating Little League Coach
(Memphis) Memphis Police Sex Crimes is investigating claims that a little league coach inappropriately touched several young children who play on his team.
Tony Massey is at the hospital recovering after a parent of children on a little league team he coaches, beat him with a bat.
Lakeshia Richmond is facing aggravated assault charges for the beating, “I was asking my kids what happened and they was telling me that Coach Red was touching on them and other boys.”
Memphis Police searched the home of Little League Coach Tony Massey Saturday night.
In the warrant, officers were looking for juvenile pornographic material, soiled linens, other pornographic material used to show children, computers used to store juvenile pornographic material and DNA.
The warrant said the reason for the search is because Massey is an authority over 16 children and the 9 children stated Massey took them to his apartment and performed a sex act with them.
However, Massey’s grandmother, who he lives with, said MPD left with nothing.
No charges have been filed against Massey at this point.
Massey is still recovering at the hospital.
