Ongoing Search For Missing Boater

(Memphis) The U.S. Coast Guard and Memphis Police are searching for a boater reported missing Saturday Afternoon.

Memphis Police Spokesperson, Sgt. Karen Rudolph tells News Channel 3 an unoccupied boat was located on McKellar lake around 2:00p.m.

The boat owner’s vehicle has also been located at the scene.

The vehicle is registered to 39-year-old Nehemiah Crenshaw of Memphis.

Mr. Crenshaw was last seen leaving his home at 5 a.m. Saturday.

Memphis Police tell us, “At this time, there are no signs of foul play, but officers are concerned of Crenshaw’s wellbeing due to his whereabouts are unknown.
 
MPD’s Air Support Unit, Harbor Patrol, and South Main Station Officers, along with TN Wildlife and the US Coast Guard, are searching the area in hopes to locate Mr. Crenshaw.”
