(Memphis,TN) Severe storms moved through the Mid-South Monday evening, bringing heavy rain and wind. Many areas got a quick downpour and some minor flooding.
Along College street, it was much worse, huge trees toppled and destroyed homes.

Charlie Donelson rushed home from work and found his home smashed to bits.

“It totally damaged every single bit of it and this isn't the half of it”, said Donelson.

A huge three toppled over and into his home. His mom, Barbara is thankful he's alive and in awe of the power of the storm.

“It's something, it's amazing, and it’s awful”, said Barbara.

Glass windows were blown out, billboards toppled, and power lines dangled all through the area. Leaves and tree branch littered the neighborhood as residents were thankful no one was hurt.
