Search For Husband Of Missing Woman Intensifies
(Memphis) A warrant is issued for the husband of a missing Memphis mother of three.
Latrice “Shay” Armstead hasn’t been seen since Sunday, July 29th.
Authorities want to question Armstead’s husband about her disappearance.
Shay Armstead’s family fears her husband, whom she moved to St. Louis to get away from after he broke her jaw, may know something about where she is.
Police believe the same thing.
The trail to find Armstead is not cold but police say there is no new information to report in day 11 of their search.
They are still also in search of her husband, Tony Bledsoe.
Since their initial conversation with him the day after she was reported missing, they haven’t seen him.
Bledsoe’s mother shut the door without answering my questions when I went to her Hickory Hill home.
We found out police have questioned a number of Bledsoe’s relatives in hopes of locating him.
Today, the On Your Side Investigators also learned officers have questioned a male friend of Shay Armstead’s who has relatives in Coahoma County not far away from where Armstead’s black Acura was found burning.
It is still one of the key pieces of evidence in the case.
Meanwhile, back in the Hickory Hill area where the husband, wife and three children once lived, they are still trying to come to grips with what has happened.
One neighbor said, “Honestly, they were always such great people. He was always such a sweet person to us. Very helpful whenever my husband needed anything from him and she was nothing but the picture perfect, model mother.”
