(Tunica, MS) There’s some good news for the Mid-South as another big company is hiring.

Wednesday, Sam’s Town held a job fair to fill just a hundred jobs in the gaming industry.

Just as excepted lots of people showed hoping to get hired.

People started lining up two hours before the job fair.

They say the line is an indication lots of people are still looking for work.

“The casino says they hiring. i want to see today,” said Tevares Adams

Sam’s Town has just under a hundred jobs to fill, everything from bus boys and housekeepers to security guards and game operators.

In an industry that never sleeps they say business is good.

“We are doing well and the casino industry, there are so many departments,” said Chris Wade with Sam’s Town.

Applicants had to fill out some forms and go through a series of interviews.

Joseph Davis got here at 8 o’clock this morning  to make sure he was one of the first people to be seen, “I was the 4th person in line.”

Davis is trying to find a job to move out on his own.

His determination paid off, before he left he was offered a job.

“A bus person, attendant, or room attendant. It doesn’t matter as long as I’m part of the team.”
