State: Greg Davis’ Checks To Be Garnished

(Southaven, MS) Mississippi’s state auditor now says Southaven Mayor Greg Davis will have his paychecks garnished in order to pay back the $70,000 the state says it is owed.
 
The money owed is due to questionable spending on anything from meals to club visits by Mayor Davis.

The city must garnish Davis’ paycheck until all the money is paid back.

If the city doesn’t take money out of Davis’ paycheck, the state says the city will be on the hook for the money.
