Updated: Infant Dies In Hot Car In Nashville Parking Lot
(Nashville, TN) WTVF-TV reports Nashville police found an “unresponsive” infant inside a car at the Donelson Heights United Methodist Church.
Reports say the child was found in a baby carrier in a vehicle in the parking lot and pronounced dead.
The temperature around the time the child was found was in the low 90s.
WTVF-TV reports the child’s mother went to pick him/her up but was told the child was never dropped off. The mother reportedly ran to her van and found the child inside.
The mother has now been taken to the hospital.
The TN Department of Children’s Services has been called to the scene.
