Mentoring Program – Operation: Safe Community
School starts next week for many mid-south students. But keeping some of them in class can be a challenge. The district attorney’s office can now fine parents whose children miss a lot of school. But operation safe community hopes it won’t come to that. They have a mentoring program aimed specifically at reducing truancy. Harold Collins is with the DA’s office.
